STEP TWO
After you’ve made your lists, let’s combine one FORM with one ANIMAL to help you think of a subject for making several prototype designs for your spaceship. These are quick and small sketches that help you come up with many inspirations at once.
Write one of your FORMS and one of your ANIMALS in the space below each rectangle, then, inside of the rectangle, draw what YOU think your spacecraft will look like based on your words.
Making several prototypes at this stage will help you get the best possible design for your spacecraft.
Don’t worry if you don’t like some of your designs - we’re just coming up with ideas at this point.
Later, we’ll take the best concepts you’ve got and combine them into something you’re really proud of - and you won’t be alone, either! Other Art Cadets will help you at the next stage to find the best parts of your sketches.
